Personal Reviews of Guru


Guru, as expected had a very grand opening and before the release we knew the story line. Some might think, it’s a very common story as how a poor guy turns to a multi millionaire and one of the leading Business Tycoon of the country. If so, yes the story is all about but, to be precise, nothing is monotonous. Screenplay and direction of Mani Ratnam is fabulous and at any point of time, viewer doesn’t feel bored or annoyed. It’s a very engrossing movie.

The surprise is all about the Jodi of Abhishek Bachaan and Aishwarya Rai. Till date, as a couple they aren’t soo successful but this movie will surely give a boost in each other career. As for my personal views, what Amitabh Bachan did in Agnipath, you can see our very own small B doing in Guru. Abhishek and Aishwarya did a fantastic job. We can see the jovial side, grayish side and also loving side in these two characters. Never for a minute will you feel what a waste of time and money. Abhishek is not in his chocolaty looks and like a hero; infact for this movie he gained some weight and somewhere he does looks ugly. Every character in this movie plays an important role, no matter how small is his/her role. R. Madhavan and Vidhya Balan have a very small roll in their pocket, but still they did a great job; so is Mithun Chakroborty.

Altogether it’s a paisa vasool movie. Everyone should watch it once in a theatre.

Most Memorable Date with my Dream Man--- Valentine's Day Special - Fiction

I was walking down the street of my lane, when I saw a small group of people distributing pamphlet of some contest. In curiosity I went among the crowd and asked, why is there all chaos, one of the girl said, if we fill this form, might someone will win a date with Abhijeet Sawant; First Indian idol. I was ecstatic as I’m madly in loved with him. All his performances were soo mesmerizing that, still his voice ring in my ears. Hastly I filled up the form and where I have to fill one liner on Abhijeet along with my personal details and contact address. As I saw the crowd, I know there is no hope of me getting special date with him, but still I always wished to spend my day with Abhijeet Sawant, my dream man. Morning to night I chanted just one name i.e. Abhijeet.

It’s been a week now since I filled the form and it completely slipped from my mind, one day I received a call on my cell, it was unknown so I was bit reluctant to pick, after some rings, I picked the call, and for few minutes I was speechless, like a statue; contest people called me and told me, I won the contest and I will be dating with Abhijeet on Valentines Day.. wow.. that were most beautiful words I’d ever heard in my life. My dream came true; at last I will be dating my beloved Abhijeet.

It was still 5 days to get my self ready for my life time date with my dream man. I went to the best shop of Delhi n bought beautiful red dress.

The loveable day arrived and I was all set for the date. I wore red dress with small ruby pendent with bouquet of roses and also my slam book with all pictures of abhijeet since he came in the contest till date. Written articles about him and all research I did on him personally.
In the evening, contest car came to my house to pick me. I was soo nervous that I will be meeting my Abhi within few minutes time and how will I reacted. Somehow I prepared few questions in mind what all to ask to make him comfortable or should be other way round.

So at last car reached at Indian Habitant center where Abhijeet was to give a live performance and then afterwards date with him. As I went I saw him singing my favorite song from the JJKN- Tham ja, zindagi,

Whole crowd was silent and seems to be lost in his song in their partners arms.. n I wished this moment to stay forever. As he was singing he was on stage and I entered the hall n our eyes met for a sec. I thought he recognized me as his date for the special day. Wow what a moment, he was dressed all in white in his favorite blue shirt and piercing in ears. What a glow, I fell in love with him instantly.

As I moved further in the crowd he was singing last stanza n as he saw me near the stage he gave his hand and pulled me on stage. He sang the last line and grabbed me in arms and I was lost in his eyes and he was lost in mine. We came into senses as crowd started applauded his performance. I was feeling very shy and what to say. I said ‘thank you’ and was rushing down the stage; but he grabbed my hands and said, one more song for the lady tonight with whom I’m dating. I was facing crowd and was soo embarrassed, my cheeks turned red and was soo shy. He slowly told me, don’t be nervous, just look into my eyes and will do this performance. I blinked my eyes in his consent. He took my heart away when he sang my fav fav number of from his Indian idol number; dream girl… I was just looking into his eyes and was dancing on stage holding his arms the way he was letting me to do. That was his last song and he said thanked the crowd for liking his performance. Then we both came down from the stage and all set for dinner. He said, wait for 10 mins, let me change the clothes, I said” u r looking fabulous in this outfit, y to change”. He just smiled and said ok will be back in two mins. Till then u can wait for me at poolside.

He winked to his secretary who took me to poolside. There I was amazed, it was decoratied beautifully just for us. All flowers were spread on the track and no one was there near the pool area. It was vacated just for two of us, so that we can share some tender moments together. I was looking at the special arrangement when I saw him coming; I just clicked his pic from my camera mobile and he was smiling all over. Wow, what a guy , he is soo handsome; he was dressed in black. He was simply looking stunning.

So he came greeted me, and asked, how m I looking, I was like, u r looking stunning and smiled coyly.

Our table was ready; it was candle night dinner. We had dinner together and started talking in general, I told him , I m his greatest fan, I used to do campaigning when he was in his finals and how much crazy i m about his voice, songs …..

He just listened to me and smiled and smiled.

Then I realized, how much I m talking and not letting him speak. I then said, now you speak. He said no, you got a sweet voice I like you to speak. I said thank you and now what to say. I was silent and we finished off our dinner. Then he said there is a surprise for you. With no time a cake came with girl and boy made giving rose and saying Happy Valentines Day. I was soo happy, we both cut the cake and served each other.

I cannot wished more than this, I wished the time to hold, and this time should never end.

But it was time to leave and say goodbye. Driver of the car came and asked me, it’s time to leave. I just looked at him, felt like crying, coz I don’t wish to be part from him. I realized at that moment, how much I loved him. But I know he is in skies one of the stars and I’m from common public. I felt a pinch in his eye too, he asked the chauffer to wait outside for few more minutes. Then I presented him roses and slambook which I maintained from the start of the show. He was amazed to see and said, I never came across such a fan in my life. You are the biggest fan I’d ever seen. Then he asked me to close his eyes. I close my eyes and he gifted me a red roses Bouquet with chocolates and a very big card which was written, will you be mine valentines every year.

I could not hold back my tears and hugged him and yes, sure I will be ur valentines and kissed on his cheeks.

He too kissed on my cheeks and wished me valentines again.

I can never forget that day, as it was the most memorable day and most romantic with my dream man Abhijeet Sawant.
